LINK OUTDOOR/ARMORED FIBER OPTIC CABLE. Single jacket, armored sheath, single loose tube with up to 12 fibers. An overlapped armored layer 0.25 mm, corrugated Electrolytic Chrome Coated Steel (ECCS) envelopes the inner sheath of the cable. The steel armored is coated to inhibit corrosion and to bond to the outer jacket. The sheath is completed with HIGH DENSITY POLYETHYLENE (HDPE) jacket. The corrugated steel tape coated with polymer armored cable desogn is primarily designed for direct buried applications where there is a threat of rodent invading the cable. Other application include aerial lashed and duct. This cable design is rated to Bellcore's superior armord rating for cable crush resistance to 440N/cm.
